Today is Buddha Purnima, lets remember the incarnation of lord Vishnu and his Triple Jewels, Four noble truths, Eight fold Path .

Triple Jewels are : Buddha, Dharma and Sangha
The dharma and Sangha leads to making of Buddha .

The four noble truth are :
1) Suffering or Dukha exists
2) Cause of Suffering ( Due to ignorance and Trishna )
3) The end of suffering ( Nirvana )
4) The path to freedom or liberation or Moksha ( Through 8 fold path )

The 8 fold path :
1) Right View
2) Right Thought
3) Right Speech
4) Right action or conduct
5) Right Livelihood
6) Right effort
7) Right Mindfulness
8) Right Concentration

Buddhism believes in the fact " May all living beings be Happy "

Meditation is the base of Buddhism and every Buddhist practices it every day .

Then we have the 3 Fundamental Truths :
1) Nothing is lost in universe ( Energy changes to matter and vice-versa)
2) Everything is constantly changing ( Our life and our thoughts as well )
3) Law of Cause and Effect ( Also called Karma )

The Buddha said,

"The kind of seed sown
will produce that kind of fruit.
Those who do good will reap good results.
Those who do evil will reap evil results.
If you carefully plant a good seed,
You will joyfully gather good fruit."

Next are the 5 Precepts :

1) No Killing
2) No stealing
3) No sexual misconduct
4) No Lying
5) No intoxicants
